There's No Place Like Home.

Recently, I lost twenty eight of my closest friends. They used to stick closer to me than a brother or sister. No matter where I went or what I did they were right there...but then I lost them.
So, I did what any true friend would do. I went looking for them. They were scattered everywhere but I tracked each one down. One by one, I found them. In the fridge...in the pantry...at the fast food joints around town...at Baskin Robbins...they were literally everywhere.
Now they are right back like they never left. Me and my L-Bezzies (as my bestie calls them) are once again tight like the dirt and the grass. Twenty eight pounds that I thought I'd never see again have returned home. I feel like singing! That means it's over right? (Fat lady...singing) 🤔
This is the story of my life. I have no strength to fight. I have no will to try again. I'm utterly exhausted. But at least I have my "friends" to keep me company. Oh how they've missed me...and as they say...there's no place like home.
