But Did You Die?

I know right now you're picturing Ken Jeong's character Leslie Chow from the Hangover movies asking his "friends" that he put in precarious positons..."But did you die?" (with Asian accent and all.)

Well, no...but I certainly got closer than what I deem comfortable! Waaaay closer than I ever want to be again!! The truth is, we've all been there before. You know. Those sticky situations where we literally see our lives flash before our eyes.

Whether it was a car accident because a friend thought they were Ricky Bobby, or maybe it was a sickness that nearly took you out. Most people have had some sort of experience where they could've died.

Now here is the good news...You didn't die. But why?? Why are you still here when the last person in your very same situation is gone forever? What do you still have to do that you have yet to accomplish? Who's life do you still need to impact? What purpose do you need to fulfill?

Stop for a second today and evaluate your "Why". Whether you know it or not, we all have one. It may be a deeply spiritual one or it may be strictly materialistic. I'm just asking you to dig a little deeper and consider why God allowed you to be here another day. Why did He give us the gift of You?

You came dangerously close to death...too close for comfort...but did you die? Nope...you didn't, so don't squander your second chance. Spread love, hope, and joy wherever you go. Walk in your purpose. And most importantly, get out there and LIVE!!

Much Love!
